Gentoo - An orange bill and a white flash behind its eye distinguish the gentoos from the slightly smaller adelies.

Adelie - The Adelie is the archetypical penguin. They are purely black and white with a distinctive eye ring.
Pop. - 2.5 million breeding pairs
Rockhopper - 'Rockies' are smaller than their easily mistaken Macaroni penguin cousin. Also their yellow tassels do not meet between the eyes.
