Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Home City Board your flight for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Day 2: Santos / Sao Paulo or Guaruja / Santos Travel to dynamic São Paulo. Discover the city?s historic buildings, contemporary architecture, and Museu de Arte. Also enjoy free time exploring its cafes and boutiques. Alternatively, spend the day in Guaruja and Santos. In Guaruja, take a walk on the most famous beaches in São Paulo State. In Santos, visit the Orchid Garden.
Day 3: Paranagua / Curitiba / Parangua Travel by train to Curitiba, via Brazil?s most spectacular rail journey, glimpsing high peaks, deep gorges, and waterfalls. Curitiba is one of Brazil?s loveliest towns, with shaded squares and distinctive architecture.
Days 4-5: At Sea These two days are spent at sea.
Day 6: Montevideo, Uruguay Call at Montevideo, Uruguay?s capital. A tour focuses on the historic port town, rich in Art Deco, Italian, and colonial Spanish architecture.
Day 7: Mar del Plata, Argentina One of Argentina?s oldest and most famed resorts, Mar del Plata is now a thriving city. Explore the Cathedral; Villa Ortiz Basualdo, housing the Municipal Museum of Art; Victoria Ocampo Cultural Center; and Sea Museum.
Day 8: At Sea Today is spent at sea sailing toward Puerto Madryn.
Day 9: Puerto Madryn and the Valdes Peninsula Call at the Patagonian town of Puerto Madryn for an excursion to the Valdés Peninsula. The Gulfs of San Jose and Nuevo lie on either side of the peninsula, allowing for ideal observation of unique marine life such as the southern right whale and the southern elephant seal.
Days 10-11: At Sea These two days are spent at sea.
Days 12-13: Westpoint Island / Saunders Island / Stanley, Falkland Islands Explore the wildlife-rich Falkland Islands. On Westpoint Island, walk across the moors to a rookery of Black-Browed Albatross and Rockhopper Penguins. On Saunders Island, discover dramatic beaches teeming with Gentoo and Magellanic Penguins, as well as Cormorant and Black-Browed Albatross colonies. Also visit Stanley, the Falklands? quaint capital.
Day 14: At Sea Today is spent at sea sailing toward Ushuaia, Argentina.
Day 15: Ushuaia, Argentina From Ushuaia?the world?s southernmost city, surrounded by the Darwin Cordillera and forests of southern beech?navigate the Beagle Channel. En route, enjoy a spectacular vista of glaciers and green, misted mountains.
Days 16-17: At Sea Albatross and Cape Petrels are among the birds that accompany the ship?s passage to Antarctica.
Days 18-22: Antarctica Peninsula and Islands Enjoy four days exploring the pristine wilderness of Antarctica. As Corinthian II sails through scenic waterways, witness a breathtaking panorama of icebergs, blue glaciers, and jagged, snow-capped mountains. Aboard the ship?s fleet of Zodiacs, cruise among ice floes, explore penguin rookeries, and visit with scientists at research stations. Although the itinerary varies according to ice and wind conditions, we plan to land at such places as Petermann Island, where humpback and minke whales are often sighted offshore; Paradise Bay, the habitat of Gentoo Penguins and leopard seals; and the famed Lemaire Channel.
Days 23-24: At Sea These two days are spent at sea.
Day 25: Ushuaia, Argentina / Buenos Aires, Argentina / Return Home Disembark and transfer to the airport for the flight to
Buenos Aires to connect with flights home.
Day 26: Arrive Home Today, you arrive home.

A $1,000 deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to a $300 per person fee.
- 31-60 days prior to departure will be assessed a penalty of $1,000 per person.
- Within 30 days of departure
are subject to a 100% penalty.
