Day 1: Anchorage, Alaska / Nome, AlaskaBoard your charter flight in Anchorage taking you to Nome. Depart the airport by local school bus for a half-day tour of Nome to learn about its history and traditions. For centuries, the Bering Strait region has been home to the Eskimo people and their territories for hunting; it is still home today to three culturally distinct groups. During this tour, you will explore the fascinating history of the Nome Gold Rush. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to the pier to embark Le Soléal.

Day 10: Commander Islands / NikolskoyeThe majority of the islands' area, as well as much of the adjoining marine habitat, are comprised of a nature preserve. The Islands are the westernmost extension of the Aleutian Islands, though they are separated from the remainder of the chain by over 200 miles. Containing folded-block mountains, volcanic plateaus, plains and low mountains, over 180 bird species have been recorded in the area including sea eagles and gyrfalcons. Over a million seabirds gather to nest in numerous large colonies along almost all the coastal cliffs: fulmars, guillemots, puffins and cormorants. On land and in the water keep an eye out for arctic fox, reindeer, northern fur seals, stellar sea lions and sea otters.
Day 11: Kronotskiy Biosphere ReserveOver 750 plant species grow in the reserve, which has volcanoes rising up to a height of over 11,500 feet. The nature reserve boasts over 700 brown bears, some of the largest in the world that can grow to over 1,200 pounds. Watch for bears at the mouths of streams fishing for salmon. It also contains Russia's only geyser basin. The Valley of Geysers has the second largest concentration of geysers in the world. This 6 km long basin with approximately ninety geysers and multiple hot springs is situated on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
Day 12: Avacha Bay / LisvenichnayaSail Avacha Bay which is one of the greatest natural harbors in the world. On the shores of the Bay is Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, the capital and administrative center of the Kamchatka Region.
Day 13: Kekurny Cape / Russkaya Bay
Day 14: Petropavlovsk, RussiaSituated on high hills and surrounded by volcanoes, Petropavlovsk is nestled in amongst volcanoes and mountains. Experience its remote location as no roads connect the Kamchatka Peninsula to the rest of the world.
Day 15: Petropavlovsk, Russia / Seoul, South KoreaConclude the expedition and disembark in Petropavlovsk. You will stop in front of the main historic monuments and at several viewpoints in town. You will also visit the Orthodox Cathedral. Transfer to the airport for your charter flight to Seoul, South Korea. Arrive in Seoul and transfer to your included hotel.
Day 16: Seoul, South KoreaAfter breakfast, check out of your hotel.
