A clear, detailed photo-map of the U.S. Amundsen-Scott South Pole Research Station. Shown are the geodesic dome and surface utility arches, the skylab research center as well as the weather balloon inflation tower. Visible surrounding area includes the true Geographic South Pole, cargo berms, Summer Camp berthing, Clean Air Research Facility and miscellaneous out buildings. Bulldozers can be distinguished chain dragging the skiway.
