This original design depicts Vince's Cross with Obervation Hill overlooking the town of McMurdo in the foreground. Vince's Cross was a memorial for a member of Robert Falcon Scott's expedition that perished. The memorial can be found on Hut Point Peninsula, Ross Island, Antarctica.
