The 2001 annual mark bears the words "Not Without Peril" and a sculpted scorpion overlying the continent of Antarctica.  The words and image are in memory of astrophysicist Dr. Rodney Marks (1968-2000).  Scorpio was Rodney's favorite constellation.

* Both items are 1 1/8" cast in fine pewter
* Pin has military clutch back
* Zipperpull has hanging clasp
